Indeed.com to Participate in First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden's Joining Forces Initiative

Stamford, CT - April 12, 2011 - Indeed.com announced its participation in First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden's Joining Forces initiative to support military families. The company will launch Indeed Military, a collection of free tools and services to help employers connect with veterans and military spouses seeking employment. In support of the goals of Joining Forces, Indeed will offer employers free access to the Indeed Military service for one year.

Starting today, veterans and military spouses can upload their resumes at www.indeed.com/military. Employers can sign up to be notified when employer services launch.

Joining Forces is a national initiative led by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden to support military families in the areas of employment, education, and wellness. The initiative is a public/private partnership combining the efforts of government agencies with commitments from private companies to improve the lives of military families.
